Guideline To The Conti Jazz Guitar Learning Products

You might be asking, "Where do I start with the Conti materials?" The following guidelines will help you to easily and quickly determine the best or most logical place to begin. The philosophy of “The Conti Approach” in every DVD, is to:
- Present an exciting and an immediately productive learning experience that:
- Has the student playing meaningful and interesting jazz lines or a beautiful solo chord melody arrangement:
- Without meaningless modes and scales.
The products are directed toward two specific types of players and skill levels. Take a moment to determine if Category 1 or 2 describes your current level of skill.
Type 1:
There are numerous intermediate, advanced and pro level players who are seeking new ideas, a fresh approach to improvising or reharmonization - essentially players who already have playing skill and simply want to "cut to the chase” and get right down to the important business of being shown exactly what to play in terms of complex lines, arrangements etc.
Type 2:
Aspiring Blues, Rock or Country players who have developed a new interest in playing jazz guitar.
Type 1 or Type 2 Goal Categories
Each product in the tables below is directed toward a specific playing goal for Type 1 or 2 Players.

| A Helpful Hint Toward Selecting Your DVDs In a manner of speaking, think of the Conti DVDs much like a shiny new Maserati in your driveway. While you might be curious to know what’s under the hood, there is no need to read the Owner’s Manual just yet, as you are far more anxious to get into the Driver’s Seat, place the key into the ignition and spin out of your driveway, and experience the thrill of driving that machine! Comparatively speaking, the DVDs listed below are the “Keys” to the Maserati, as each of those DVDs below will place a Pro-Level Single Note Solo under your fingers as quickly as you can absorb the data on the DVD. In essence, Conti plays an actual "real-world" improv solo over the selected chord progression. He then breaks the entire solo down into small workable segments and teaches you to play the solo - note-by-note, measure-by-measure.
